Responsibilities
- Provide project management for large, complex, and high-risk I&IT projects, particularly in the security domain.
- Develop and manage project schedules, scope, and deliverables.
- Lead and manage large project budgets, ensuring fiscal control and accountability.
- Supervise and provide leadership to project and consultant staff.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, recommending mitigation strategies.
- Lead the team through all clients and Treasury Board approvals.
- Develop business cases and gain stakeholder approval.
- Provide clear, concise project, program, and portfolio reporting to all levels of management.
- Lead change management initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing large/complex projects within a Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC).
- Strong collaboration and engagement skills with executives and senior management.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets and communicate project status effectively.
- Prior experience with cybersecurity projects is a must.
- Knowledge and experience in resource management, including supervising and providing leadership to project teams.
- Experience with various project management methodologies, including Agile/Waterfall.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate project deliverables and resolve conflicts.
