Responsibilities
- Technical Project Leadership: Direct the modernization of large, complex multi-platform environments. Act as the technical advisor for the implementation of data platforms leveraging Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Delta Lakes.
- Data Integration & Architecture: Oversee GoldenGate implementations to ensure seamless data synchronization. Provide actionable feedback on conceptual and logical data models and ensure alignment with Target State Architecture.
- Agile & DevOps Management: Manage the adoption of CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps. Lead sprint planning, feature mapping, and backlog refinement while tracking velocity and requirements traceability.
- Strategic Governance: Coordinate Threat Risk Analysis (TRA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA). Ensure all digital solutions meet AODA accessibility standards and digital government guidelines.
- Financial & Resource Management: Develop complex project budgets across multiple funding channels. Track burn rates, earned value analysis, and resource allocation for interdependent projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate roadmaps and risks to senior executive levels. Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs and resolve resourcing or interpersonal conflicts.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
- Data & Cloud Platforms: Extensive technical experience with Azure, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lakes, and APIM.
- Integration Standards: Proven experience with GoldenGate implementations and FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) data standards.
- Architecture: Hands-on experience managing data platforms following Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) and working with conceptual and logical data models.
- Low-Code Solutions: Experience managing Power Platform and model-driven low-code projects, including SharePoint customization.
- DevOps: Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for tracking requirements traceability, test coverage, and deployment pipelines.
Project Management & Agile Leadership
- Methodologies: Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, with demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Sprint Management: Proven ability in sprint, feature, and backlog planning, including story point estimation and velocity tracking.
- Strategic Planning: Familiarity with enterprise strategic planning processes, PMO standards, and the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge).
- Governance & Risk: Experience coordinating Threat Risk Analysis (TRA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), ensuring compliance with AODA and digital government standards.
Communication & Soft Skills
- Stakeholder Relations: Exceptional ability to manage client expectations and build consensus among diverse stakeholders and senior executives.
