Responsibilities
- Provide servant-leadership to technical professionals, facilitating work without coercion and optimizing Agile delivery approaches to meet project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain a full suite of project management artifacts, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), integrated project plans, and detailed schedules.
- Monitor and forecast project costs, ensuring fiscal targets are met through proactive reporting and resource management.
- Identify, track, and report on project risks and issues, establishing robust contingency plans to ensure project continuity.
- Coordinate engagement opportunities with high-level stakeholders and manage the acceptance processes for third-party deliverables.
- Facilitate "Go-Live" activities and implement comprehensive transition plans, including learning, development, and organizational readiness across the enterprise.
- Prepare briefing materials and interactive dashboards for executive decision-making. Document lessons learned and complete formal close-out reports post-implementation.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience planning and managing large, multi-tier, multi-stakeholder IT projects.
- Deep knowledge of Agile delivery (Scrum Master certification is an asset) and structured project management methodologies.
- Proven track record in managing third-party vendors and external contract deliverables.
- Expert proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) and experience creating interactive data dashboards.
- Superior negotiating, mediating, and influencing skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to development and testing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex business and IT issues through facilitation and analytical decision-making.
