As a senior project manager, you will bridge the gap between clinical stakeholders, technical implementation teams, healthcare providers, and vendors. Operating within a hybrid work model, you will drive integrated project plans, oversee workstreams related to ePrescribing solutions, govern project risks and issues, and ensure seamless deployment across healthcare environments. This position demands a certified project management authority (PMP) with deep familiarity with medication workflows, clinical business processes, and health privacy legislation.

Lead stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and client relationships to ensure alignment across complex healthcare networks.
Manage project risks, issues, scope changes, and service requests, applying proactive mitigation strategies.
Navigate medication workflows and clinical business processes across pharmacies, hospitals, and health records departments.
Ensure all project deliverables comply with relevant health privacy policies and legislation, including PHIPA, FIPPA, and HPPA.
Contribute to program governance, advisory committee reporting, and deployment tracking dashboards.
Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration, resolve project bottlenecks, and lead conflict resolution across matrix organizations.
Oversee project go-live schedules, deployment readiness, and post-implementation reviews for individual workstreams.
Qualifications
Core Requirements & Project Leadership
Project Management: 5 to 8 years of progressive experience project managing electronic health-related initiatives, with a focus on deploying clinical software systems.
Project Management Mastery: 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience applying core project management methodologies (PMBOK standards, Waterfall, Agile) using tools such as MS Project and MS Teams.
Clinical & Medication Workflows: 2 to 4+ years of direct experience with medication workflows and business processes within pharmacies, hospitals, and health records.
Professional Certification: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
Matrix & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated track record managing projects in matrix organizational environments and engaging cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Experience & Assets
Education: Undergraduate degree in Health, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Privacy & Health Legislation: Working knowledge of health privacy regulations, including PHIPA, FIPPA, and HPPA.
Public Sector Context: Prior experience within public sector healthcare organizations or broader public sector health environments is preferred.
Soft Skills & Delivery Attributes
Communication & Engagement: Superior verbal, written, active listening, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical partners.
