Responsibilities
End-to-End IT Project Leadership: Direct the planning, execution, and delivery of IT initiatives focused on ServiceNow implementations, system integrations, and operational enhancements.
Offshore Team Coordination: Manage, oversee, and align offshore development and technical support teams to ensure deliverables meet project milestones, quality standards, and timelines.
Financial Systems Alignment: Lead financial IT projects designed to support public sector budgeting, reporting, and regulatory standards.
Resource & Plan Management: Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, financial budgets, resource allocations, and dependency matrices across multi-disciplinary teams.
Risk Mitigation & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks, technical bottlenecks, and operational issues to safeguard project timelines.
Stakeholder & Executive Communication: Provide regular updates, status reports, executive dashboards, and strategic briefings to senior leadership and project sponsors.
Governance & Standards Compliance: Ensure all project activities adhere to enterprise standards, procurement guidelines, governance frameworks, and data privacy policies..
Qualifications
IT Project Management Seniority: 5+ years of dedicated project management experience leading complex IT initiatives, ideally within public sector environments (Strictly Required).
ServiceNow Implementation Experience: 5+ years of proven track record delivering ServiceNow implementation, integration, or platform enhancement projects (Strictly Required).
Financial Systems Knowledge: Deep understanding of public sector financial systems, budgeting processes, and reporting requirements in Ontario or Canadian jurisdictions (Strictly Required).
Offshore Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience successfully coordinating and managing offshore development and technical delivery teams (Strictly Required).
Delivery Methodologies: Strong practical knowledge of formal project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid) (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL (with focus on ITSM/ITOM modules).
Familiarity with public sector procurement practices and vendor management frameworks.
