Responsibilities
- Design and develop Siebel Business Layer objects including Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflows, Applets, Views, and Screens.
- Lead integration efforts using Siebel EIM/EAI and manage connections with external platforms like Adobe AEM and J2EE.
- Use Siebel Open UI specific classes and methods to customize the user interface, working with Physical Models (PM), Presentation Models (PR), and Manifest Files.
- Translate business requirements into detailed programming specifications, writing clean code and maintaining data-driven programs.
- Edit Siebel Web Templates and utilize HTML5, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript to create modern, responsive interfaces.
- Conduct thorough unit testing, debug complex code, and resolve technical problems arising during migrations or daily operations.
- Develop and maintain business intelligence reports using OBIEE and PowerBI.
- Facilitate design walkthroughs with project teams and provide post-implementation support to ensure system stability and security.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and integration.
- 5+ years of experience with Siebel EIM/EAI and 3+ years specifically with Siebel IP18+.
- Deep understanding of Open UI architecture, including OOTB file structures, mapping files, and UI embedding techniques.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JavaScript, and various Siebel Tools.
- Experience with relational database technologies and the use of query languages for information retrieval.
- Possession of Siebel 8.x or above certification is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet aggressive deadlines, and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with Siebel Public Sector modules (Grants Management, eService, Partner Portal) or AODA compliance standards.
