Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and deploy scalable software solutions
Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning
Build and maintain modern applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, and REST APIs
Advocate for best practices in software engineering including unit testing, CI/CD, and clean architecture
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team learning and growth (Engineer IV & V levels)
Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in software development
Strong skills in building scalable, reliable web services
Proficient in both front-end (React) and back-end (Node.js)
Experience with Ruby-on-rails is preferred
Familiarity with NestJS and NextJS is a plus.
Experience mentoring junior developers
Comfortable leading small technical projects
Experience with microservices and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and testing frameworks
Exposure to serverless technologies or event-driven architecture is a plus
Previous experience in a healthcare or regulated industry is a bonus (not required)
