Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design: Provide high-level architectural deliverables, technical requirements, and detailed solution designs to configure and customize Salesforce Lightning Cloud platforms.
Salesforce Field Services Customization: Configure and customize Salesforce Field Services based on prioritized user stories and low-level designs to address specific operational and field mobility needs.
Technical Documentation: Autonomously create, maintain, and own comprehensive technical designs, process maps, and enterprise architectural artifacts.
System Integration: Design and build secure integrations between Salesforce and external applications using web services (REST/SOAP APIs), authentication frameworks, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
Agile Code Development: Adhere to defined coding standards to develop well-structured, maintainable custom logic (Apex, Lightning Web Components - LWC, Visualforce) when configuration boundaries are met.
Security Modeling: Enforce a robust Salesforce security model by managing sharing rules, roles, profiles, and organization-wide sharing settings.
DevOps & Release Management: Manage user stories and defect tracking in DevOps; oversee codebase migrations across environments using CI/CD technologies like Salesforce DX, Jenkins, ANT, or GitLab.
Risk & Progress Reporting: Actively track and report on project deliverables, proactively raising architectural risks or migration bottlenecks with team leads and executives.
Qualifications
Core Salesforce Seniority: 5+ years of dedicated Salesforce development experience, with a proven track record of developing and delivering enterprise solutions using Salesforce Field Services.
Documentation Mastery: Extensive experience authoring complex, formal Architecture and Technical documentation under structured governance frameworks.
Technical Proficiency: Deep hands-on knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, data loaders, SOQL, and SOSL.
CI/CD & Deployment: Proficient with deployment automation utilities such as Salesforce DX, Jenkins, ANT, or GitLab.
Methodology Expertise: Strong experience delivering production-ready features in fast-paced Agile/Scrum delivery modes.
Preferred Certifications: Possession of relevant Salesforce credentials is highly desirable (e.g., Field Service Consultant, Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, or Platform Administrator).
Sector Experience: Prior experience working within the Public Sector (OPS) is preferred.
