Responsibilities
- Design and drive the setup of enterprise solutions. Ensure all designs align with approved architectural roadmaps and artifacts.
- Maintain configurations in version control systems (GitHub/Azure DevOps) and reproduce environments (Dev-to-Prod) using automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop reusable cloud environment configurations for the deployment of both COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) and custom applications.
- Advise operations teams on cost/performance optimization using cloud-native tools. Establish monitoring, alerts, and notifications for error events.
- Guide DR and failover exercises. Determine the feasibility of environment repair versus full redeployment during system crashes.
- Mentor junior developers and lead multidisciplinary teams to coordinate components for successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience provisioning and maintaining large, highly available, mission-critical on-prem and cloud solutions.
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud platform integration.
- Fluency in Git-based source code management and automated pipeline development.
- Strong understanding of Information Security domains (Encryption, IAM, Network zoning) and privacy requirements.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and batch/real-time integration technologies.
- Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and agile software development tracking.
