Our client is looking for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist for a 6-month contract, with a possible one-time 6-month extension based in Toronto. This hybrid role requires 2–3 days per week onsite with the flexibility of remote work for the rest of the work week.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with BAs, stakeholders, and project teams to clarify user stories and develop clear, testable requirements
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts covering functional, non-functional, integration, regression, performance, and load testing
• Plan and organize testing efforts across GUI and non-GUI systems throughout all SDLC phases
• Analyze defects, identify root causes, document findings in Azure DevOps, and track resolution
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices in testing and automation
• Test Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications including Curam, Siebel, Oracle eBS, SAP
• Conduct risk-based defect analysis and support user acceptance testing (UAT) processes
• Ensure compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards in testing
• Prepare test summary reports and metrics aligned with project milestones
Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on QA/testing experience across all phases of the SDLC
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, ITIL processes, and QA best practices
• Proficient in Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking
• Experience testing front-end web applications and COTS systems (Curam, Siebel, Oracle eBS, SAP)
• Familiar with AODA compliance testing and accessibility guidelines
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with automated test script development is an asset
• Knowledge of child welfare or case management application testing is a plus
• Proficient in SQL and scripting for test data validation and automation
