Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and advise on testing strategies, resource identification, and comprehensive test plans for large-scale initiatives.
- Full-Cycle Testing: Plan, organize, and execute functional, non-functional, system integration (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including specialized stress and load performance tests.
- Accessibility Compliance: Conduct AODA Compliance Audits and remediation using tools like AXE and WAVE to ensure all software meets regulatory accessibility standards.
- Technical Integration: Validate complex interfaces involving ReadyAPI, Web Services, and APIs, ensuring seamless communication between cloud applications and back-end databases.
- System Administration & Support: Utilize test management tools like Azure DevOps and Microfocus ALM 12.5 to track defects, manage version control, and document test results.
- Legacy & Mainframe Validation: Test and support interactions with Licensing and Control Systems (LCS), Legacy Mainframe Systems, and Payment Gateway (MPG/EPS) services.
- Collaborative Quality Assurance: Work closely with IT leads and project team members throughout the analysis, design, and implementation phases of the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Senior Testing Expertise: 10+ years of experience in planning, organizing, and implementing enterprise testing efforts.
- Methodology Mastery: Deep working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies.
- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps and Microfocus ALM 12.5.
- Proficiency with ReadyAPI, Web Services, Java, and .NET platforms.
- Hands-on experience with mainframe tools such as TSO/SPF.
- Cloud Proficiency: Direct experience testing within Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Compliance & Standards: Demonstrated experience in AODA Compliance Audit & Remediation.
- Database Knowledge: Experience querying and validating data across IMS, DB2, SQL, Oracle, and UNIX databases.
