Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Define the testing strategy and identify required resources, tools, and objectives for complex case management system rollouts.
- Case Management Testing: Lead testing efforts for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications, with a specific focus on platforms like Cúram and specialized case-handling systems.
- End-to-End Execution: Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and cases for GUI and non-GUI environments, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Defect Management: Uncover, troubleshoot, and perform root-cause analysis on defects. Record and track issues within Azure DevOps and report progress against schedules.
- Compliance & Security: Determine that data and resources are protected through vulnerability assessment and ensure all digital interfaces meet AODA accessibility guidelines.
- Agile Collaboration: Partner with Product Owners and BAs to clarify user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritizing testing work within iterative sprints.
- Team Leadership: Act as a QA lead to coach and mentor junior team members, facilitating the transition from manual to automated test cases.
Qualifications
- Direct experience testing COTS applications (specifically Case Management/Cúram).
- Specialized knowledge in testing large-scale social service applications.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps for testing activities, requirement traceability, and defect tracking.
- Advanced knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITIL processes for Change/Release Management.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and data mining using SQL.
- Extensive experience in Agile/Scrum project environments.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and version control systems.
- Understanding of information management principles and AODA regulations.
