Responsibilities
- Agile Analysis: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop clearly defined epics and user stories. Attend Daily Scrums to provide progress updates and review testing inputs.
- Test Strategy & Leadership: Lead the development of testing strategies and plans for GUI and non-GUI environments. Provide guidance to other QA analysts and oversee system testing activities.
- End-to-End Testing: Document and execute all test plans, cases, and scenarios. This includes systems integration tests, Specialized stress tests, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Automated Testing: Utilize Selenium and/or the MS Power Platform testing tool to create repeatable, efficient test suites. Manage version control and defects within Azure DevOps.
- Technical Alignment: Provide consultation on source-to-target mapping and use SQL to query databases, ensuring data integrity across complex integrations.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all deliverables align with AODA regulations and ITIL processes for Change/Release Management.
- Knowledge Transfer: Prepare system test documentation, user manuals, and guidelines to support a seamless hand-over to ministry staff.
Qualifications
- Core Experience: 7+ years as a Systems Testing/QA Specialist, with a proven track record of leading large-scale testing implementations.
- Testing Toolset: * Hands-on experience with Selenium or MS Power Platform testing tool.
- Methodology Expertise: Deep knowledge of SDLC, Agile (Scrum), and structured development methodologies.
- Database Skills: Proficiency in Relational Databases and the use of information retrieval packages using SQL.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate complex technical results to Project Managers.
