Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on testing strategies, selection of tools, and resource identification. Develop comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases for GUI and non-GUI environments.
- Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD) to translate functional needs into detailed test scenarios, user stories, and data requirements.
- Lead specialized accessibility audits for web, mobile, and document formats (PDF/Word). Utilize assistive technologies and keyboard-only techniques to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.0+ Level A & AA.
- Execute functional, integration, system, and regression tests. Document and track software defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps, and lead defect triage meetings.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Postman) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Conduct stress, load, and performance testing to ensure system scalability.
- Develop robust test data strategies, ensuring data integrity, privacy, and consistency across various databases and system components.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups) and work closely with developers and business analysts to resolve technical bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Systems testing, Mobile testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Comprehensive knowledge of WCAG 2.0+ success criteria and hands-on experience with industry-leading assistive tools like JAWS or VoiceOver.
- Proven ability to analyze BRDs and create complex test data requirements.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, JIRA, and automated tools like Selenium or Postman.
- Mandatory experience with statistics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Crystal Reports.
- Experience with public service portals (driver/vehicle services, payment gateways, or address modules) is a significant asset.
