Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and technical teams to develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for GUI and non-GUI environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing using tools like Selenium, Appium, and Katalon.
- Lead quality assurance activities across various types of testing, including integration, unit, load, performance, accessibility (AODA), and back-end component testing.
- Record and track defects using Jira, provide detailed reproduction steps, and facilitate regular defect review meetings with stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint reviews, business requirement workshops, and daily scrum stand-ups to ensure quality is integrated throughout the SDLC.
- Create traceability matrices to align outcomes with business requirements and provide regular status reports on test completion and identified risks.
- Assist clients with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and conduct post-implementation testing to ensure seamless releases.
- Ensure all design artifacts, test scripts, and source code are documented and transferred to the technical repository through regular touchpoints and dedicated sessions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in planning, organizing, and implementing large-scale testing efforts.
- Deep working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically within Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Katalon) and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Proficient in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and the ability to write SQL queries for database validation.
- Familiarity with AODA compliance audit tools (AXE, WAVE) and non-functional testing (load, stress, and performance).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage QA-related escalations, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
