Multi-Tiered Verification: Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm that production-ready software satisfies all functional and non-functional requirements.
Data Profiling & Backend Querying: Establish robust test data management strategies and examine relational backend databases using structured query languages (SQL) and Job Control Language (JCL) to validate data synchronization.
Defect Governance & Variance Tracking: Log, analyze, and monitor the resolution of software anomalies and systemic variances using automated problem management frameworks (e.g., ClearQuest).
Root Cause & Outage Triage: Conduct deep root cause analysis on application errors, collaborating directly with engineering and product teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve architectural bugs.
Stakeholder Consultation & Gating: Facilitate communication lines across project teams to verify requirements meet final solution delivery. Act as a trusted technical advisor to Project Managers regarding the formal acceptance or rejection of software components.
Knowledge Transfer & Centralization: Deliver structured skills training to internal team personnel, while establishing and maintaining a centralized tracking repository for all shared testing blueprints and artifacts.
Qualifications
Core QA Seniority: 5+ years of extensive, progressive professional experience defining, building, and executing comprehensive test strategies for large-scale web applications.
Agile/DevOps Fluency: 5+ years of hands-on experience embedded within Agile delivery teams, with demonstrated capability preparing sprint backlogs, running sprint planning tracks, and designing user stories.
Backend Database Validation: Strong, practical competency querying backend architectures and data tables utilizing SQL and JCL to analyze transaction outputs.
Defect Lifecycle Mastery: Clear expertise logging test results, tracking application variances, and orchestrating defect resolution using automated problem tracking environments like ClearQuest.
