Responsibilities
Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts during requirements walkthroughs to ensure complete alignment between business use cases and quality assurance scope.
Author, document, and execute master test strategies, comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases covering all phases of quality assurance.
Perform functional, system integration, end-to-end, regression, and performance testing across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
Conduct specialized testing tracks, including unit, user acceptance (UAT), production acceptance, security, vulnerability, backend, and web services testing.
Develop, document, and complete testing checklists across all project phases, incorporating results into final production readiness check lists.
Execute manual and automated test scripts, compiling and reporting test findings, defect metrics, and execution telemetry to project stakeholders.
Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or TestRail, leading defect resolution, re-testing, and issue closure workflows.
Partner with project managers and corporate IT leads to support release management, change execution, and formal architecture checkpoint reviews.
Assist in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting system and testing environments for in-house developed and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications.
Qualifications
Quality Assurance Seniority: 10+ years of dedicated professional experience developing test strategies, test plans, scenarios, test cases, and managing end-to-end QA execution (Strictly Required).
Multi-Methodology Delivery: Proven experience delivering testing and quality assurance requirements within both Waterfall and Agile development environments (Strictly Required).
Multi-Tier Solution Testing: Demonstrated expertise testing multi-tier, multi-platform, integrated/interconnected solutions, COTS applications, and enterprise reporting systems (Strictly Required).
Defect Lifecycle Management: Proven track record identifying, tracking, coordinating, re-testing, and resolving system defects using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or TestRail (Strictly Required).
Full-Spectrum Testing Execution: Deep hands-on experience performing functional, regression, performance, load, user acceptance, security, backend, and web services testing.
Environment & Application Troubleshooting: Practical capability configuring test environments, debugging system issues, and executing manual test suites alongside automated test runs.
Soft Skills: Superior analytical reasoning, technical documentation, and interpersonal negotiation skills, with a track record of driving cross-functional alignment and meeting tight deadlines.
