Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, detailed test cases, and test scripts aligned with business requirements and system architectures.
Agile & Sprint Execution: Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups while managing test execution, backlogs, and test cases in Azure DevOps.
Workflow & Content Management Testing: Execute specialized testing on workflow-driven platforms (IBM Business Automation Workflow) and enterprise Content Management Systems (OpenText) to validate metadata, permissions, and document workflows.
API & Backend Database Testing: Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP) and backend database validation, writing complex PL/SQL queries to verify data integrity, jobs, and pre/post-data migration mappings.
Test Automation & CI/CD Integration: Design, build, execute, and analyze automated test scripts using Selenium, integrating automated test suites into continuous deployment pipelines.
Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, isolate, replicate, and trace software defects using Azure DevOps or Rational tools, driving root-cause analysis and defect triage meetings.
Accessibility & Security Compliance: Perform thorough accessibility testing (AODA and WCAG standards) for WebUI and digital documents, alongside security and access control validation.
UAT Coordination & Documentation: Author UAT test artifacts, document test execution findings, lead requirement walkthroughs, and assist business leads through release sign-offs.
Qualifications
Systems Testing Seniority: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Systems Testing/QA Specialist delivering quality assurance across enterprise-level IT projects (Strictly Required).
Workflow & CMS Testing: Demonstrated experience testing workflow-driven applications (IBM BAW/BPM) and enterprise content management platforms (OpenText) (Strictly Required).
Test Automation: Strong background planning, writing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium or equivalent frameworks (Strictly Required).
API & Database Validation: Proficient in REST and SOAP API testing and writing PL/SQL queries for backend database and data migration testing (Strictly Required).
Accessibility & Security Compliance: Practical experience conducting AODA / WCAG compliance testing for web UIs/documents and validating security access controls (Strictly Required).
