Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Execution: Design, document, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts across functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
Test Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Postman, and integrate automated test suites into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Performance & Load Validation: Design, script, and execute performance, stress, and load testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to evaluate throughput, memory usage, and bottleneck points under high traffic volumes.
AODA & Accessibility Compliance: Conduct rigorous accessibility testing on web applications and digital assets to ensure strict compliance with AODA regulations and WCAG standards.
Database & API Testing: Write complex SQL queries against relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) to validate data integrity, test data transformations, and verify backend business logic.
Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, isolate, log, track, and re-test software defects using enterprise defect tracking platforms (JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM), collaborating directly with developers to drive root-cause resolution.
Agile Ceremonies & Documentation: Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, while maintaining clear documentation of test coverage, execution metrics, and release readiness reports.
Qualifications
Seniority & Enterprise QA Experience: 10+ years of dedicated software testing experience across large-scale enterprise IT systems and complex software architectures (Strictly Required).
Manual & Automated Testing Mastery: Hands-on experience developing test strategies and automated scripts using frameworks such as Selenium or Postman for API testing (Strictly Required).
AODA & Accessibility Expertise: Extensive, practical experience conducting AODA accessibility testing and ensuring WCAG compliance (Strictly Required).
Performance Testing Tooling: Proven experience planning and running performance, load, and stress tests using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools (Strictly Required).
Database & SQL Proficiency: Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) with hands-on ability to write SQL queries for backend data validation (Strictly Required).
Methodologies & Cloud Knowledge: Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall testing methodologies, along with foundational knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
