Responsibilities
• Create automated scripts, tools, and procedures to support limited downtime deployment and system maintenance
• Manage configuration and credentials across production environments while planning routine maintenance activities
• Oversee database upgrades, migrations, backups, and recovery protocols across multiple active environments
• Build templates and standardized patterns for application deployments and continuous integration pipelines
• Develop telemetry and monitoring solutions to enhance overall application visibility and observability
• Assist cross-functional delivery teams with integration, security, system, performance, and load testing activities
• Eliminate repetitive manual operational tasks by designing and implementing automated deployment solutions
Qualifications
• Proven background as a DevOps Specialist building continuous deployment pipelines and automated infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with production system maintenance, credential configuration, and database migration tasks
• Demonstrated experience working effectively within agile cross-functional teams and human-centered design workflows
• Physical residence within Canada and ability to attend periodic in-person meetings in Edmonton up to 15% of the time
• Eligibility and willingness to clear standard criminal record checks and higher level security clearances as required
