Responsibilities
Security Architecture: Design and build clustered enterprise network and cloud infrastructure solutions, focusing on high availability and security remediation.
Traffic Analysis: Utilize advanced knowledge of Network, Web, and Authentication protocols to perform in-depth network traffic and packet analysis.
Vulnerability Management: Perform and oversee technical vulnerability assessments of the I&IT environment, including intrusion detection and perimeter network monitoring.
Infrastructure Administration: Administer remote access infrastructure and manage LAN/WAN wired and wireless security technologies.
Security Remediation: Lead efforts in the remediation of security incidents, applying best practices in cryptography, key management, and application security.
Automation & Scripting: Use programming languages such as Python and Shell scripts (Unix/Linux/Windows) to automate security tasks and streamline infrastructure management.
Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a subject matter expert on enterprise information security theories, cloud security, and networking best practices.
Qualifications
Core Expertise: 10+ years of expert-level technical proficiency with F5 (LTM, APM, ASM, GTM).
Security Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in computing and information security, including incident remediation.
Network Specialization: 10+ years of technical experience with large enterprise clustered high-availability firewalls, load balancers, and proxies (Checkpoint, Broadcom ProxySG, Zscaler ZIA).
Technical Knowledge: Advanced understanding of networking technologies, perimeter security, and intrusion detection.
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Scripting Skills: Working experience with Python and Unix/Linux/Windows shell scripting.
Nice to Have: Prior experience within the Public Sector.
