Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership: Develop and manage technical architectures for specific applications, ensuring high performance across distributed environments.
Requirements Translation: Work with diverse stakeholders to capture business, functional, and system requirements, translating them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Cloud & Data Solutions: Design high-level architectures for modern data solutions, specifically focusing on cloud platforms, security, and AI-related technologies.
Governance & Review: Navigate and lead the architecture review process, ensuring all designs comply with established ITIL methodologies and organizational standards.
Project Support: Support the creation of detailed designs and project plans, participating in various initiatives as the lead architect to guide the team through development and implementation.
Technology Evaluation: Lead technology evaluations and provide recommendations on the adoption of emerging tools, middleware, and gateways.
Data Initiatives: Lead or support data governance initiatives and design processes that prioritize data integrity and security.
Qualifications
Core Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience as a Data or Technology Architect.
Technical Breadth: Extensive experience with at least three different platforms, operating systems, and database technologies, with specific expertise in Oracle Database.
Cloud Architecture: Solid experience designing and implementing solutions on modern cloud platforms.
Governance Expertise: Familiarity with the Architecture Review Process and structured design methodologies in large systems environments.
Analytical Skills: Advanced conceptualization and problem-solving skills, with a track record of translating complex business needs into actionable reporting and architectural models.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
Project Methodology: Experience working in both Agile and traditional project management environments.
Nice to Have: Prior experience within the Public Sector or large-scale distributed systems.
