Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain robust automated test suites for RESTful APIs using Java and Rest Assured.
Develop and implement BDD test scenarios and step definitions using Cucumber.
Maintain and enhance the existing test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
Collaborate with developers and manual QA analysts to define test strategies and identify automation opportunities.
Analyze test results, report defects, and work with the development team to see them through to resolution.
Contribute to frontend test automation efforts using Cypress as a secondary responsibility.
Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a test automation developer role.
Core Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience in backend API test automation using Java and Rest Assured is mandatory.
BDD Frameworks: Strong proficiency with Cucumber for creating feature files and step definitions.
Frontend Automation: A good understanding of frontend testing is required; direct experience with Cypress is a major asset.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in both French and English is mandatory.
