Responsibilities
- Apply UX best practices to design solutions that solve complex user problems, emphasizing mobile-first and responsive frameworks.
- Efficiently create and iterate on designs, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes based on user feedback and technical feasibility.
- Facilitate user research activities, including interviews, scripts, and topic mapping. Synthesize observations into actionable Research Findings Reports.
- Participate in Scrum delivery methodologies, working closely with Product Owners and Developers to ensure design alignment with development sprints.
- Lead usability testing sessions to validate designs. Incorporate accessibility compliance testing to ensure products are inclusive for all users.
- Communicate design processes and ideas effectively to stakeholders, using a distributed model to regularly deliver solutions for approval.
- Produce key deliverables following standard playbooks across distinct phases: Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live.
- Act as a mediator between business teams and technical staff to ensure products progress according to schedule and overcome resistance to change.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience participating in complex, large-scale product designs within an Agile environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision, Axure, JustInMind, and Zeplin.
- Deep understanding of responsive design patterns and mobile-first architecture.
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design; certification in Usability, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or Technical Writing is highly preferred.
Strong background in User Research synthesis, aggregation, and observation analysis.
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js) is considered a strong asset.
Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex design solutions to non-technical audiences.
