Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Facilitate workshops with key internal partners to discover, formalize, and prioritize business requirements; analyze existing HR workflows to identify key areas for automation and optimization.
Solution Architecture & Configuration: Translate strategic objectives into functional specifications; evaluate system design options and contribute directly to the configuration, enhancement, and tuning of Workday features.
Quality Assurance & Testing: Design comprehensive test strategies, scripts, and acceptance criteria; lead functional, integration, and regression testing streams while supporting developers throughout the solution lifecycle.
Project Delivery & Coordination: Participate in project planning, sprint activities, and progress tracking to ensure timely deliverable milestones across multidisciplinary initiatives.
Enablement & Documentation: Maintain detailed functional documentation and serve as an internal subject matter expert to upskill business users and technical peers.
Qualifications
At least 8 years of experience as a Functional or Business Analyst within enterprise software environments.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with the Workday platform.
Strong domain understanding of HR operations, Workday Business Processes, rules, and approval workflows.
Demonstrated track record in software quality assurance, functional testing coordination, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Practical experience writing clear functional specifications, use cases, and testing scenarios.
Prior experience with Workday integrations, data exchanges, or core modules (HCM, Benefits, Payroll) is a strong asset.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Strong autonomy, organizational skills, and cross-team leadership capabilities.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
