Responsibilities
- Inbound Receiving: Unload delivery trucks, inspect incoming shipments for damage, cross-reference against packing slips and Bills of Lading (BOL), and update digital inventory systems.
- Outbound Shipping: Prepare outgoing freight by wrapping, staging, banding, and labeling orders according to customer requirements.
- Equipment Operation: Safely handle material handling equipment (Counterbalance, Stand-up Reach) and manual pallet jacks to transport goods across the facility.
- System & Documentation Tracking: Input shipping records, generate bills/labels, and scan items using RF scanners or basic ERP/Excel tools.
- Inventory Control: Participate in routine cycle counts, stock audits, and uphold general loading dock organization and safety standards.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience operating in a shipping, receiving, or logistics warehouse setting.
- Valid Forklift Certification (Counterbalance or Raymond Reach) is considered a major asset.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably and stand/walk during standard 8-hour shifts.
- Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with RF scanners, data entry, Excel, or inventory management systems.
- High Attention to Detail: Precise verification of order numbers, product quantities, and shipping labels.
- Punctuality & Safety Focus: Excellent track record for attendance and adherence to safety protocols.
