Responsibilities
- Inbound Freight (Receiving): Offload incoming deliveries, verify items against bills of lading (BOL) and packing slips, check for product condition, and record updates into the inventory system.
- Outbound Logistics (Shipping): Package, band, shrink-wrap, label, and stage outgoing orders to meet client specifications.
- Forklift & Material Handling: Safely operate equipment (Counterbalance, Reach Trucks) and manual hand jacks to transport inventory across the floor.
- Documentation & Systems: Generate shipping documentation, produce shipping labels, and track inventory details using Microsoft Excel or ERP/RF scanning systems.
- Warehouse Support: Help maintain stock accuracy through routine inventory cycle counts and keep loading docks clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1 year in a shipping, receiving, or general logistics environment.
- Machine Operation: Valid Forklift Certification (Counterbalance, Stand-up Reach, or Raymond Reach) is highly preferred.
- Physical Readiness: Comfortably able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout standard 8-hour shifts.
- Tech Literacy: Basic computer proficiency (RF scanners, Excel, Word, or warehouse software).
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for validating part numbers, order quantities, and freight integrity.
- Reliability: Strong attendance, team mentality, and commitment to safe working habits.
