Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the floor manager, you will ensure the smooth flow of goods:
ERP & Document Management: Use the ERP system (Epicor) to manage documentation, scan and attach work orders to invoices, and ensure electronic submissions.
Shipping Logistics: Prepare, pack, and ship orders according to KYD standards or specific customer requirements (including outbound mail).
Control & Tracking: Verify the accuracy of shipped items, track lost shipments as needed, and maintain inventory organization.
Communication: Actively use Outlook for coordination and file tracking.
Organization: Keep the work environment clean and meticulously file documents to prevent future disputes.
Qualifications
Computer Skills (Essential): Basic to intermediate proficiency (Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite). Knowledge of an ERP system (Epicor is an asset) is preferred.
Education: High school diploma (or equivalent).
Logistical Assets: Knowledge of customs procedures (e.g., B13 form).
Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods while packaging.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent stress management skills, and strong organizational skills.
