We are currently hiring for Shipper/Receiver associates for a 3 month contract with possibility for extension and even full time for the right candidate. If you are a student on academic drop or scheduled break and willing to do general labor work, we can hire you!
Location: Gurney Crescent North York ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm
Pay Rate: $19/h
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Sort goods based on specific criteria, including style, size, and component type (alphabetic or numeric).
- Accurately count all items received and verify them against packing slips.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to a supervisor immediately.
-Maintain an organized and clean receiving area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
-Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

-loading/unloading trucks
-maintaining inventory accuracy.

-Experience with FedEx/UPS software,
- Forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
-Proven experience in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving role.
-Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in counting.
-Ability to read and understand packing slips and other documents.
-Strong organizational and time-management skills.
-Basic computer skills for data entry may be required.
