Responsibilities
- Receiving: Unload inbound trucks, inspect goods, verify shipments against Bills of Lading (BOL), and update stock counts digitally.
- Shipping: Pack, band, shrink-wrap, and stage outgoing orders according to customer specs.
- Equipment Use: Safely operate material handling equipment (Counterbalance, Stand-up Reach) and manual pallet jacks.
- Data & Tracking: Log freight details, run RF scanners, and use basic ERP/Excel software to manage records.
- Stock Audits: Perform cycle counts, help maintain inventory accuracy, and keep the dock safe and orderly.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years in warehouse shipping/receiving or industrial logistics.
- Certifications: Current Forklift license (Counterbalance or Raymond Reach) is strongly preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Tech Comfort: Familiar with RF scanning tools, basic data entry, and PC software.
- Precision: Sharp attention to detail with shipping tags, quantities, and order numbers.
