Responsibilities
As Site Coordinator, you will be the face of Randstad on-site, a visible, trusted, and proactive presence for both the workforce and the client. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Recruitment & Candidate Selection Support
Source candidate pipelines across multiple platforms (online job boards, professional networks, referral channels, and local outreach).
Review resumes, conduct preliminary phone screens, and schedule candidates for behavioral interviews and skills assessments based on department-specific qualifications.
Coordinate pre-employment compliance steps, including reference checks, background checks, and verification of client-required documentation.
Assist in maintaining an active pool of pre-qualified talent to meet client high-volume staffing fluctuations.
Onboarding & Talent Coordination
Coordinate and facilitate weekly on-site orientation and onboarding sessions tailored to client standards, health and safety policies, and department expectations.
Provide new hires with necessary onboarding materials, badging, legislative labor requirements, and access to internal e-learning and development platforms.
Guide new hires through their first-day logistics to ensure a positive candidate-to-employee transition.
Site Operations & Administration
Maintain accurate tracking of employee attendance, timekeeping, payroll inputs, and leave records in partnership with the Account Manager.
Assist in gathering and compiling data for the Weekly Management Report (WMR) and other operational metrics.
Handle initial employee inquiries regarding payroll, schedules, workplace policies, and benefits, escalating complex relations cases to the Account Manager.
Support health and safety compliance by distributing H&S materials, logging incident reports, and assisting with routine safety audits on-site.
Reporting & Metrics: Track key operational indicators including attendance, productivity, turnover, and safety compliance to report performance data to stakeholders.
Communication & Relationship Building
Maintain daily touchpoints with on-site temporary employees to support engagement, retention, and positive workplace culture.
Assist the Account Manager in liaising with client department supervisors regarding day-to-day schedule updates and urgent staffing fills.
Client Account Management: Partner directly with client site management to anticipate staffing needs, address operational bottlenecks, and communicate proactive solutions.

Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements
Education: College Diploma or equivalent completed.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, candidate sourcing, administrative coordination, or customer service (agency or high-volume staffing environment preferred).
Technical Skills: Fully conversant in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and vendor management tools.
Bilingualism: Full professional fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required.
Our Client operates across Canada. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfill these job duties.
