We are looking for an assembler for our warehouse in Dorval. This is a great job for a company in the automation industry. As an assembler, you will have your own workstation where baskets of motor components slide your way to be assembled. The assembler uses blueprints and assembly plans as instructions, and both power and manual tools to put the motor component together. This is a permanent job opportunity, with benefits, a salary range of 20$-21$ an hour based on experience.

Responsibilities
- Unit assembly (motors, gearbox, variable speed drive, etc.)
- Examine work order and prioritize accordingly based on the level of urgency
- Visually check correspondence between work order and parts
- Replenish readily available parts, including bolts, nuts, washers and shims
Clean dirt, steel, debris and rust from gear housings using a compressed-air gun
- Using a broom, clean the work area of small parts, dirt. Wipe up spills, e.g: grease; put scrap parts in the scrap bin; store tools in boxes, etc.
- Participate in cross-training as required
Qualifications
- One to two years' experience in an assembly or warehousing position is required to become familiar with the product and its requirements
- Good interpersonal skills as there may be a client-facing component from time to time
- A high degree of concentration and must respond to interruptions to perform other tasks, Ex: repairs and customer relations
- The job requires olfactory or auditory concentration to listen to a device and to detect mechanical faults in a device
- The job requires strength, stamina and endurance to repair the units
- Must have good coordination when using hand tools, assembly tools and the hoist
