Responsibilities
* Assemble units like motors, gearboxes, and variable speed drives.
* Prioritize work orders based on urgency.
* Verify parts to ensure they match the work order.
* Replenish small, readily available parts such as bolts and washers.
* Clean gear housings using a compressed-air gun.
* Keep your work area tidy by sweeping, wiping up spills, and storing tools and scrap parts properly.
* Participate in cross-training as needed.
Qualifications
* One to two years of experience in assembly or warehousing is required.
* Must have strong interpersonal skills for potential client interactions.
* High level of concentration to handle interruptions and other tasks like repairs or customer service.
* Requires auditory and olfactory concentration to detect mechanical faults in devices.
* Must have the strength, stamina, and endurance to repair units.
* Possesses good coordination for using hand tools, assembly tools, and a hoist.
