Responsibilities
• Build responsive, accessible front-end components using React, Next.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Integrate with REST APIs and handle state management using modern libraries (e.g., React Query, Zustand)
• Ensure all UI features comply with WCAG/AODA accessibility standards
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to convert mockups into production-ready components
• Conduct unit tests, automated UI tests, and support vulnerability, penetration, and load testing
• Participate in daily Agile standups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
• Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows
• Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for production incidents and defects
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and ensure cross-browser/device compatibility
• Deliver documentation including technical specifications, style guides, and accessibility testing notes
Qualifications
Must Have
•3+ years of hands-on experience with React, Next.js, JSX, and Node.js
•Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript fundamentals
•REST API integration experience using tools like Swagger UI and Postman
•Proficiency in version control tools (Git, branching strategy, pull requests)
•Strong understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and AODA compliance
•Familiarity with authentication and security practices (OAuth, JWT, HTTPS, CORS, etc.)
•Experience using React libraries such as React Hook Form, Zustand, and React Query
•Strong HTML/CSS, responsive web design skills
•Exposure to Agile/Scrum development and DevOps pipelines
Nice to Have
🧪 Experience with Playwright, Jest, or other testing frameworks for automated UI tests
🧰 Knowledge of JSON, Swagger, and regression testing strategies
🔁 Familiarity with CI/CD deployment workflows
🌐 Exposure to Spring Boot and server-side rendering concepts
🔍 Hands-on experience with accessibility tools like WAVE and AXE
