to procurement policies and governance requirements. The Junior Sourcing Specialist will also support with data driven and
analysis activities for the whole Procurement team in order to provide proper data analytics for decision making.

Provides essential support in executing sourcing initiatives that contribute to marketing investment efficiency and cost
optimization. This role helps ensure compliance with procurement policies and supports effective supplier management
processes.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage sourcing projects (including RfI, RfQ, RfP) from initiation to award on assigned category, with support from the Sourcing Manager.
Negotiate with suppliers to drive cost savings, improve commercial terms, and secure value-added services.
Work closely with stakeholders to define sourcing strategies that align with business needs and procurement goals.
Collaborate in the development and implementation of cost optimization initiatives across key indirect spend categories.
Monitor and track team compliance with procurement policies, sourcing processes, and governance frameworks.
Ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place for sourcing projects and contract activities.
Maintain and update compliance reports to flag deviations and drive corrective actions.
Maintain and update different reports for data-driven decision making and overall tracking on spend and savings.
Participate in supplier onboarding, contract reviews, and performance tracking to ensure full lifecycle management.
Qualifications
Experience Required
1–2 years’ solid experience in a procurement or sourcing role, preferably in an FMCG environment
Ability to lead and carry out sourcing events (RFx) and negotiate with suppliers
Understanding of Canadian supply markets and procurement principles
Strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationship and supplier
relationship
Demonstrated interest in procurement strategy and business operations
Experience working cross-functionally or in project support roles
Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
Foundational understanding of procurement concepts such as budget, savings, RFx, Supplier relationship
management...
Ability to handle supplier negotiation independently to drive savings and efficiency
Familiar with procurement contract and ability to design commercial structure and commercial terms
Familiarity with e-Procurement tools (e.g., COUPA, SAP) is a plus
Knowledge of supplier evaluation and risk management principles
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; exposure to Power BI is an asset
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
University degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Bilingualism (French and English) is required due to regular communication with internal and external stakeholders across Canada and internationally.
Our Client operates across Canada, and globally. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties.
