Position: Specialist, Learning and Development
Location: Toronto or Mississauga ON
Payrate: $23.24/h
Advantages

- Work Mode: Hybrid / Office (as per operational needs)
- Schedule: Full-time (Standard day shift)
Responsibilities
- Support managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) in identifying and capturing business workflows.
- Observe workflow recording sessions (live or screen captures) to document detailed procedural steps.
- Convert recorded process information into structured, written guides within the documentation system.
- Format documents using standard templates, including screenshots and visual aids for better clarity.
- Perform routine updates on existing procedures to ensure all information remains current.
- Organize document repositories and maintain accurate version history and change logs.
- Proofread and edit draft materials to ensure they meet quality and clarity standards before final approval.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience (internships and post-secondary projects included) included Administrative Assistant, Training Coordinator, Operations Support, or HR/Continuous -Improvement Intern.
- Education: Post-secondary education required.
- Technical Writing: Proven ability to translate complex tasks into simple, step-by-step instructions.
- Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and content management tools.
- Languages: Strong command of English (written and verbal). Bilingualism is an asset.
