Responsibilities
• Provide support in day-to-day pricing analyses and approvals for resale, maintenance and cabling opportunities.
• Work with cross-functional teams on customer Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quote (RFQ), and other pricing requests.
• Conduct financial analyses and modelling on large business opportunities.
• Provide pricing strategies and leadership for complex opportunities with a focus on improving win rates while maximizing profitability and aligning to corporate profitability focus.
• Work with other Lines of Business within BBM to consolidate financial analyses for complex solutions.
• Prepare strong and well-supported business case to executives for pricing approval.
• Participate in funnel discussion with sales and finance to gain early visibility of pricing requests.
• Attend cadence meetings with sales solution specialists and client executives to understand account challenge and market dynamics.
• Track and document win/loss and competitive information for key opportunities.
• Gather market and competition intelligence through different channels.
• Initiate post-mortem reviews with sales for key losses to gain lesson-learns and share with the extended pricing team and product managers.
• Understand various partner incentive programs and discount structures to support pricing activities.
• Predictive analytics of future results based on current performance and trends.
• Supporting pricing competitive analysis on resale business opportunities.
• Assisting in the management of sales business opportunity funnel for pricing team’s consumption.
• Work with finance and sales to investigate and analyze the sales funnel and identify opportunities to improve the process and management.
• Work with product & sales team to support services portfolio.
Qualifications
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
• Detail oriented
• Able to prioritize and multi-task at a high level
• Able to solve problems analytically
• Ability to adapt to change, in a competitive environment where priorities change frequently
• Self-motivated, self-governing, and accountable
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong financial background, pricing experience is viewed as an asset, business case building is viewed as an asset
