Responsibilities
Merchandising Execution: Accountable for executing product, pricing, placement, and promotion strategies tailored to specific retail banners.
Data Analysis & Financials: Review and analyze margins, deal structures, retail savings, cost accuracy, forecasts, and sales data using tools like SAP and Excel.
Promotional & Ad Management: Input promotions into planning systems, validate flyers, proof ad content, and partner with Marketing to build weekly and seasonal "shop-in-shop" features.
Inventory & Replenishment Coordination: Partner directly with the Replenishment Team to manage inventory flow, address stock needs, and resolve daily agency discrepancies. Pricing & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct weekly price check reviews, implement action items from competitive price reports, and resolve pricing issues.
Category Strategy & Support: Assist Category Managers with seasonal planning, vendor listing submissions, underperforming category reviews, and overall program execution.
Qualifications
Experience in retail merchandising (grocery sector experience preferred).
Strong analytical skills (proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP) to navigate and analyze large datasets.
Proven ability to negotiate, communicate across all levels of the business, and manage execution accuracy.
