Responsibilities
Financial and Non-Financial Transactions
- Execute investment transactions (purchases, sales, transfers, direct debits, etc.) for a dynamic team of approximately twenty representatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Validate and enter financial transactions into the system (Univeris Platform);
- Follow up on client accounts as needed and correct discrepancies;
- Conduct necessary research in various systems to respond to inquiries;
- Analyze problem cases related to received transactions and forms;
- Propose necessary modifications to resolve and prevent problems;
- Follow up with representatives to obtain the information required to resolve problems and communicate proposed solutions;
- Process and track requests for reimbursement of redemption and transfer fees;
- Schedule bank transfers and currency conversions;
- Process GIC (Global Investment Certificate) applications and enter them into the system;
- Collaborate with fund companies and Head Office as needed to follow up on files;
- Create and/or update various files;
Form Preparation
- Prepare the administrative and transactional forms required for all financial and non-financial transactions (mutual funds, deposit products);
- Communicate with Advisors when a request is unclear and make the necessary corrections;
- Ensure that the most up-to-date version of each document is always used.
- Conduct necessary searches in various systems to respond to the different requests received;
Qualifications
A person…
- Holding a college diploma in administration (asset: finance or financial services option) OR having completed the IFIC Operations course;
- Possessing excellent written and spoken French;
- A functional level of English is required;
- Able to manage time and priorities, work under pressure, and react quickly;
- Detail-oriented and meticulous;
- Able to meet deadlines;
Possessing strong planning and organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities;
Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, autonomy, initiative, resourcefulness, and a good team spirit;
- Comfortable working in a computerized environment, with a very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook;
- Experience in the financial sector is an asset.
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:
-communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a daily basis
-work on client projects, products or deliverables that are required to be delivered to clients in English
