Responsibilities
- Organize inland transportation (truck and rail) shipments
- Handle customers inquiries for shipment requests
- Proactively track shipments and resolve delays, equipment shortages, or transport bottlenecks.
- Communicate daily with trucking companies, rail providers, and terminals to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and partners
Qualifications
- Based in or around Montreal
- Experience with over the road shipments is required, preferably from a Freight Forwarder, 3PL, Trucking or Shipping line experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task time sensitive issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Well organized, ability to handle stress & meet tight deadlines
