Operating within the manufacturing & logistics space, you will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth daily operations and ensuring the supply chain functions without interruption. You will be actively responsible for utilizing both manual and electric pallet jacks to transport materials safely, securely, and efficiently across the facility floor. Your day-to-day duties as a Warehouse Associate will also involve managing essential document shredding processes. Specifically, you will be operating the "tipping machine" by pushing items into the shredder via straightforward button controls, an integral part of maintaining information security and operational tidiness.

Responsibilities
-Safely and efficiently move boxes, materials, and inventory throughout the warehouse facility utilizing both electric and manual pallet jacks.
-Load, unload, and systematically organize boxes weighing up to 35 lbs, ensuring proper physical handling and accurate placement at all times.
-Operate specialized document shredding equipment, specifically managing the tipping machine through simple push-button controls to securely dispose of materials.
-Maintain a highly organized, clean, and meticulously tidy workspace to promote operational efficiency and adhere to strict safety standards within the manufacturing & logistics environment.
-Assist the broader team in general material handling, freight moving, and order fulfillment tasks as required by the daily operational schedule.
-Consistently demonstrate an excellent, cooperative attitude and maintain a flawless attendance record to maximize your potential for a permanent hire offer.
Qualifications
-Proven ability and confidence to safely operate manual and electric pallet jacks within a busy, high-traffic warehouse setting.
-Strong physical stamina, endurance, and the manual dexterity required to repeatedly lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 35 lbs throughout your shift.
-Strong attention to detail and precision, particularly when operating tipping machines, sorting materials, and maintaining a consistently tidy workspace.
-High level of professional dependability, characterized by exceptional punctuality, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
-Must possess and consistently wear your own CSA-approved steel-toed shoes at all times while on the warehouse floor to meet strict safety guidelines.
-Must have your own reliable personal transportation to commute to work every day, as the facility location is definitively not accessible via public transit.
-Must successfully pass a comprehensive, clear background check prior to the commencement of your employment in this facility.
-Must be able to provide professional, verifiable references to confirm your past reliability, work ethic, and performance in a working environment.
