Responsibilities
-Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move heavy building materials throughout the warehouse facility.
-Load and unload skids of products from delivery vehicles and storage racks within the fast-paced manufacturing & logistics environment.
-Perform highly accurate order picking and packing duties using an RF scanner to ensure correct inventory distribution.
-Utilize a manual pallet jack to transport smaller loads and strategically organize stock on the warehouse floor.
-Lift, carry, and carefully maneuver bags and pails of building materials weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular, daily basis.
Qualifications
-Must possess a valid, up-to-date forklift certification and have verifiable hands-on experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
-Previous professional experience utilizing an RF scanner for precise order picking and packing is considered a strong asset.
-Steel toed shoes required
-Must be physically capable of repeat lifting and bending and lifting up to 50lbs as needed
-Exceptional and unyielding commitment to punctuality and attendance, as daily reliability is a critical requirement for success in this temporary assignment.
