Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination: Answer telephone inquiries and book receiving and outbound appointments as directed.
Carrier & Gate Control: Consolidate carrier documentation and assign receiving doors to carriers upon arrival at the facility.
Order Verification: Verify inbound orders and match Purchase Orders against vendor packing slips.
Inventory Tracking: Produce storage labels and update the perpetual inventory system to correct any receiving errors.
Shipping & Systems Admin: Prepare documents, debit notes, and pallet BOLs for outbound loads. Ensure all outbound orders are confirmed in the system, printed, and shipped on time.
Team Support: Provide administrative computer system support for Warehouse Team Members and assign orders out to staff as instructed by the supervisor.
Operational Backup: Step in to support Inventory Control when necessary and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education: High School Graduate with a strong willingness to learn new tasks and take on fresh challenges.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of general warehousing experience.
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of PCs and standard office software (Word, Excel, Access, Email).
Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (such as Delfour or SAP).
Core Skills: Excellent time management, organizational prowess, and strong problem-solving skills.
