Workplace Services Professional

We are currently looking for a Workplace Services Professional to support our client in their Toronto office. In this role you will work full time hours on 3 month assignment.

Work Environment: Role is 100% onsite at the Toronto office


Hours - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Responsibilities
•Collaborate with team members and the Workplace Services Coordinator to ensure smooth execution of daily office operations.
•Deliver a high-quality customer service to staff, clients, and external guests, fostering a welcoming and professional environment.
•Conduct scheduled walkthroughs (start/mid/end of day) across workfloors, workstations, meeting rooms, kitchens, and print rooms - record and escalate deficiencies.
•Tidy and reset spaces: tuck in chairs, clear communal clutter, and ensure aisles/exits are clear.
•Collect dishes from shared areas and place in café dishwashers.
•Restock supplies: office (pens, paper, stationery), print (paper/toner) and general offices supplies.
•Monitor safety and accessibility: keep emergency equipment unobstructed; log spills, damaged furniture, lighting/HVAC problems.
•Assist with office supply inventory and distribution.
•Support health and safety initiatives by updating signage and participating in health and safety inspections.
•Assist with facilities management through routine walkthroughs and prompt reporting of issues to local facilities teams.

Qualifications
•• Qualification #1 1-2 years of work experience in facilities, customer service, event services, hospitality, or an office environment is an asset

•• Qualification #2 Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of ServiceNow is an asset.

•• Qualification #3 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•• Qualification #4 Work within a shift schedule between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

•• Qualification #5 Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task and be a positive team player and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
