Responsibilities
Deep Performance Diagnostics: Gather and interpret complex telemetry from the z/OS environment (CPU, memory, I/O, and workloads) to ensure system health.
Strategic Optimization: Identify systemic bottlenecks and develop actionable roadmaps to enhance capacity and processing speed.
Resource Mapping: Analyze and categorize consumption patterns across various applications and services to mitigate impact on global performance.
Technical Intelligence: Design and maintain executive-level dashboards and health-status reporting for the platform.
Documentation: Produce comprehensive technical reports and roadmap recommendations for senior leadership.
Qualifications
Advanced technical mastery of the z/OS environment (Performance Tuning and Monitoring).
In-depth experience with analytical tools such as RMF, SMF, and Omegamon.
Strong understanding of mainframe architectures and the management of critical workloads.
Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, pragmatic visual dashboards and presentations.
Proficiency in French and functional English.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
