Our client who is a global manufacturer within the Energy Sector in the Montreal region is looking to hire a Project Coordinator, who will be responsible for project documentation control for multiple sites in Canada alongside supporting the stakeholders for the project planning team.
Contract: 12 months (possibility for extension or hire)
Location: Montreal (Hybrid)
Linguistic: Bilingual (English and French)

Responsibilities
•Support the planning, resource allocation, execution and monitoring of R&D projects for the Aero-derivative gas turbine portfolio.
•Support in extracting the R&D technical content to enable writing the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) incentive technical content.
You will work with a diverse team, striving to support the various projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Support to the Project and Resource planning Processes:
•Admin and technical support for MS Project and/or OnePM tool, and user support
•Furthermore, you will support project/program portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
•Establish, create, and maintain metrics to improve the quality of planning, deliverables, commitments, and resource allocation.
Support to SR&ED:
•To extract R&D technical content based on SR&ED requirements.
•Maintain a project list showing the hours and costs spent.
•Maintain a list of resources to enable SR&ED cost reporting.
Qualifications
•Strong soft personal skills i.e. team player, quick learner, ability to adapt quickly & effectively, strong communication skills
•Experience in planning and project management for 1-2 years or a strong interest in gaining the experience.
•Basic knowledge of gas turbine product for 1-2 years or a strong interest in gaining the experience.
•Basic Knowledge of MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
•Bilingual (French and English)
