Responsibilities
•Perform detailed balance sheet analysis and ensure accuracy of financial reporting
•Review and interpret regional P&L results and underlying business drivers
•Support the Product Control / Finance team with upfront financial analysis
•Work closely with regional finance teams to understand entity structure, revenue transfers, and tax impacts
•Analyze financial data to identify variances, risks, and trends
•Assist with process changes related to financial reporting and analysis
•Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and business teams
•Support ad-hoc analytics, reporting, and documentation as required
•Maintain strong controls and ensure compliance with internal policies
Qualifications
•University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory)
•Minimum 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in banking or financial services
•Strong experience working with balance sheets and regional P&L analysis
•Prior experience in the banking sector required
•Solid analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
•Experience interacting with finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams
•Knowledge of capital markets products is an asset
•Experience with regional tax, entity structures, or revenue transfer analysis is an asset
•Technical skills such as Excel macros, VBA, or Python scripting are considered an asset
•Professional designation such as CPA or CFA (nice to have)
