We are looking for a natural leader for a small-sized company, someone who can oversee all accounting operations and manage a small team of two people. If you are known for your expertise in general accounting and your supportive approach, this role is for you.

Responsibilities
• Manage all accounting and financial activities for the company.
• Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements.
• Oversee month-end and year-end processes.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other government filings.
• Manage payroll and ensure compliance with labor standards and internal policies.
• Administer employee group insurance and pension fund plans.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of two employees.
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial verifications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.
• Provide the executive team with financial analyses and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
• University degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, including preparing financial statements and supervising a team.
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian accounting and tax standards.
• Experience with an ERP system.
• Intermediate level proficiency in Excel.
• Professional level of French and English, both spoken and written (international exposure is a plus).
