Responsibilities
Proactively represent US Sanctions Compliance in all initiatives to implement or upgrade sanctions screening software (Fircosoft Continuity). Liaise with Group Compliance and Technology teams in Paris on sanctions screening issues, including list management, rules, tuning, optimizations, and exceptions. Provide oversight of Technology and Operations teams on sanctions screening, list management, tuning, analytics, and data governance. Execute enhancements of processes and procedures with a commitment to consistency and successful implementation within set targets and deadlines. Identify potential screening gaps and develop implementation plans to address them effectively. Develop and prepare key metrics for daily and monthly oversight and reporting to senior management. Ensure screening processes comply fully with OFAC, EU, and all other applicable sanctions laws and regulations. Recommend opportunities for tuning sanctions screening lists with rules and structure ongoing interdiction list reviews.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience: Prior experience in Sanctions Compliance, including list management, tuning/optimization rules, and system development/implementation.
Software Knowledge: Experience supporting Fircosoft screening applications and managing tuning technology projects.
Languages: English is required as you will be dealing with client, supplier, and colleagues who are outside Quebec.
