Responsibilities
• Identify and evaluate security vulnerabilities associated with corporate applications, prioritizing areas for mitigation based on potential impact and urgency.
• Work closely with various IT groups to collect relevant data, analyze findings, and develop actionable recommendations for risk reduction.
• Prepare clear and concise risk assessment reports, outlining identified vulnerabilities, recommended remediation strategies, and implementation plans.
• Assist in the execution of remediation plans, providing technical expertise and support to ensure successful risk mitigation within established timelines.
• Document all aspects of risk assessment processes, including methodologies, findings, recommendations, and implementation progress, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats, security best practices, and technological advancements, applying relevant knowledge to enhance risk management strategies.
• Contribute to the enhancement of application portfolio management practices, proposing and implementing process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Five (5) years' experience in designing, implementing, performing upgrades, configuring, troubleshooting and documenting software solutions;
• Five (5) years' experience in Large scale software package application
• Five (5) years' experience in an analysis role demonstrating the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;
• Five (5) years' experience dealing with design considerations, staff impact analysis, and implementation timelines; and
• Three (3) years’ experience with software and hardware risk assessment, including analysis, recommendation and implementation.
Desirable Qualifications
• Strong customer service skills;
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels;
• Proficiency in documenting requirements and other project required artifacts; and
• Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations. 5. Previous experience as a project manager.
